Our History

It all started when…

Shady Tree Landscaping was founded in 1991 by Gregory Kay.

He started out providing basic landscape maintenance services to residential clients. Since that time, Doug Kay, Todd Cullen, and Peter Roberto have become part of the day to day operations of our growing company. 

Now, 28 years later and with a staff of more than 30 employees, we are a company that provides complete residential, commercial, municipal and athletic field, maintenance, construction and full irrigation services including installations to our many satisfied customers.

Our goal is simple:  to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction, while providing the highest quality landscape and irrigation systems in Dover, Medfield, Norwood, Needham, Sherborn, Weston and throughout New England.
