Landscape Maintenance Foreman
Shady Tree is looking for a Landscape Maintenance Foreman that would be responsible for supervising 2 to 4-man lawn maintenance crews, on municipality, commercial and high-end residential homes.
Landscape MAintenance Foreman Duties
Fulfills all daily work logs given daily by operations manager and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
Organizes, supervises, leads, employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frame.
Interfaces with clients when needed.
Maintains, truck logs, reports any equipment problems to operations manager or head mechanic immediately so repairs can be made for the next day. Always keeps truck and equipment clean.
Adheres to all safety procedures and ensuring crews do the same. Hearing protection, eye protection, etc

Irrigation Technician
We are looking for an Irrigation Specialist that would be responsible for supervising the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of irrigation components.
Irrigation Technician Duties
Interfaces with clients when needed.
Read and understand irrigation plans for installation and repair.
Actively troubleshoots & makes needed repairs on irrigation systems. Identifying deficiencies within the system.
Programs irrigation controllers on all assigned job sites to maximize penetration and minimize runoff.
Creates reports detailing irrigation schedules and meter readings as well as a log of irrigation repairs for each job.
Practices effective water management techniques such as ET based scheduling, as well as to determine the appropriate irrigation schedule for each job.
Recognizes drainage deficiencies and problem soils.
Understands the concept of central control systems and WiFi based systems
Understands flow sensing and has the ability to set up and install flow sensing hardware.
Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties including projects layout and completes required paperwork in a timely manner.
Organizes, supervises, leads, employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frame.

EXPERIENCED SNOW EQUIPMENT OPERATORS ($35.00 per hour)
& SNOW SHOVELERS NEEDED (No Experience Needed - $25.00 per Hour)
Shady Tree is looking for experienced equipment operators and others for snow removal operations for the upcoming 2020-2021 season. Must have 2 to 3 years snow removal experience, a valid DOT or ability to get one, MA Hoisting license if applying for loader position. Must be available 24/7 during the winter months and able to arrive onsite within 1 hour of notification.
Qualifications
Experience in operating heavy equipment in extreme conditions during a winter event.
Experience in moving snow from roads, parking lots, loading docks, etc.
Experience in operating sidewalk plows, snow blowers, etc
Experience in deicing with salt spreaders, driving deicing trucks, etc.
Experience in removal of snow from sidewalks, doorways and building entrances, etc.
Requirements
2 - 3 years’ experience in commercial snow removal.
Be able to be on call 24hrs Dec 1 thru April 1
Must possess valid drivers’ license, DOT card
Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Must be able to work in long duration events 24+ hours or more without leaving.
Hoisting license for loader operation
